Academics are proud to be working alongside a warm, inclusive, and well-regarded primary school in Westminster, who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners at a crucial stage of their development, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Location: Primary School, Westminster
Start Date: January / February 2026 start
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: 95-100 per day (dependent on experience)



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored classroom support to pupils and teachers within the Early Years setting

  • Support children with their learning, development, and emotional well-being

  • Promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour strategies

  • Assist with both classroom-based and wider school activities

  • Help create a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with teachers to support pupil progress



What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children within a school or similar educational setting

  • A committed Learning Support Assistant with a genuine passion for Early Years education

  • Graduates with a proactive and positive approach are encouraged to apply

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
