Academics Ltd is currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming early years setting within a primary school in Harrow from September 2025.

Position: Nursery Nurse
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Harrow, North West London
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education desirable)

Nursery Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5
Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote all areas of early development
Observe and monitor children's progress, recording and reporting outcomes clearly
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
Contribute to maintaining a high-quality and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

A recognised childcare qualification (minimum Level 3 required)
Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting
Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and early years development
Strong communication and team working skills
A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
A valid, enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
