We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to join a highly supportive and inclusive SEN school in Kempston this September. Salary: Paid to MPS/UPS - Dependent on Experience

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Lead a small, well-supported class of pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, and communication difficulties
  • Create and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
  • Use a trauma-informed and child-centred approach to learning and behaviour

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working in an SEN or inclusive mainstream setting (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, and other complex learning needs
  • A calm, compassionate, and resilient teaching approach
  • Ability to commute to Kempston
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to inclusion, creativity, and nurturing each child's potential
